This gorgeous walnut filing cabinet only needed a little refresh. One of the door latches was sticking, the top needed to be refinished and it just needed a full cleaning.
~ before ~ there was so much potential with this vintage filing cabinet. I like to think it was originally used in an office or a school to store files - there was label residue on each shelf. Aside from a good cleaning, one of the touch-latches was sticking as well.
~ before ~ the top had a lot of scratches and staining, but the body was in great condition.
~ after ~ a fully refinished top and the wood grain is popping.
~ after ~ just look at that beautiful wood grain.
~ after ~ we may not have as many papers that need filing, but the shelves are perfect for storing books, board games or whatever you might have in mind.
